We make every effort to ensure students with disabilities can test with the accommodations they need. The request policies and process for digital and paper test accommodations are the same.

How to Request Accommodations

Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) coordinators should go to SSD Online to request accommodations for their students. Read more about requesting accommodations for students.

When to Request Accommodations

It may take up to seven weeks to receive approval, so submit requests as early as you can.

Students taking the SAT or PSAT 10 need to request approval to use accommodations from the College Board SSD office. Keep in mind that students who take the SAT with state-allowed accommodations that have not also been approved by College Board can't send their score reports to colleges.

Students taking the PSAT 8/9 don't need College Board approval to use accommodations, but they can request it. Once they get approved, they can use their accommodations until one year after high school graduation on most College Board tests (with limited exceptions).
